Celebrate Diversity

Barbara writes faster than a speeding deadline, is able to leap complex concepts in a single study, while remaining a fighter for the written word, accuracy, and a sense of humor.

Web Development

  • HTML
  • XML
  • JavaScript
  • Cascading Style Sheets

There are some who create Web pages and ask “Why can’t all browsers just get along?”and then there are those of us who try to figure out how. Even in Internet time, the promise of CSS and XML has barely brought us to the vision of early PC designers. The secret of Web development is flexibility. My passion is to keep my education one step ahead of the standards locomotive.

  • Adobe PageMaker

    Graphics Software

    • Adobe PhotoShop CS
    • Microsoft Visio

Once upon a time, my artistry was limited to words. PhotoShop has changed allthat. Even those of us who can’t tell a van Gogh from a paint-by-number can learn to add value to an online graphic. In four years of experience with PhotoShop and two previous years of experience in PaintShop Pro, I have created basic graphics layer bylayer, color by color and effect upon effect. All the graphics on this site were created in PhotoShop . I am not now, or have I ever been an advanced online artist, yet I have enough talent to modify, edit and enhance the work of others.
